Camping is a dream here.

Located in the densely forested, spring-fed Little Castle Creek valley at the base of the Castle Crags, our campground offers 24 RV sites and 20 tent sites scattered across a scenic setting. Our location is both right off the I-5 for access, and at the eastern edge of some of California’s most remote wilderness.

Nothing beats waking up to the mountain-fresh air with the sounds of a stream, while putting the coffee on over the campfire. Enjoy a rustic setting, without sacrificing modern amenities and the comforts of our entire Wilderness Lodge….

Game room with arcade. Group BBQ pit & recreation lawn. Laundry room. Campstore with ice, wood, snacks, and RV supplies. Pool and spa available for all guests until sunset. Farm to table restaurant. Firepit at each camping site. All sites are pet friendly.

* Campground Notice

The campground camp store/office, bathrooms, laundry and arcade are currently closed for the winter season.

Due to freezing temperatures, water is shut off in all sites— with the exception of RV sites #29, 30, 31, 32, 33.

All (FHU) RV sites will continue to be available for booking and will have access to electricity and sewer.

PHU Sites will have access to electricity, with no water.

For RV campers

  • There are many RV hook-up sites with an easy pull through. We can accommodate your RVs up to 45 feet! Most sites have 30-amp electrical hook-ups and some designated sites accommodate up to 50 amps.

  • Most spots are “FHU”, full hook-up. Please note the “PHU”, which indicates partial hook-up without sewer. You can use the dumpsite of any open full hook-up site when you depart for an additional $10.

For tent campers

  • Tent sites are for 1 tent comfortably and 2 tents maximum. Sites are for two occupants, additional guests for a small fee.

  • For your comfort we have complimentary hot showers and restrooms.

To Note

  • This is a true, “visit by the fire, read a book, enjoy the kids and the great outdoors” kind of camping! Wi-Fi is available, but you are in a wooded and remote area and it can be temperamental. The restaurant provides stronger internet access.

  • Dumpsters are secured in the evenings due to high bear activity.
